VW AppConnect is a technology from Volkswagen that enables the infotainment system in Volkswagen vehicles to be connected to various smartphone platforms. The feature was developed to improve the integration of smartphones into the vehicle and to make access to certain apps and functions safer while driving. VW AppConnect supports three common smartphone platforms: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.
